Origin & Innovation

Based on an international patent proposal (PCT/2021/067506 for “Portable Vessel Scanner”), designed in collaboration with the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.

What is EchoWatch

EchoWatch was created to solve the problem of locating a vein in “difficult” patients in emergency, home, or hospital settings – patients such as the elderly, obese, children, or those with dehydration. In current care environments, portable ultrasound is often unavailable 24/7. EchoWatch is the first solution that:

  • Visualizes the vein in real time, without needing an external ultrasound.

  • Dilates the vein through an integrated heating system, improving visibility and ease of needle insertion.

  • Immobilizes the vessel using a patented mechanical clamp, reducing movement and ensuring a steady puncture.

Thanks to these features, EchoWatch makes vascular access more reliable, safe, and efficient even outside hospitals, where ultrasound is often not available.
